Richard Jeske started R.J. Heating Company in 1946 to take care of his church. Soon the parishioners were calling on him to take care of their businesses as well. When cooling (air conditioning) came into vogue, Mr. Jeske changed the name of his company to R.J. Heating & Cooling.
In 1989, Chuck Dolph bought the heating side only of R.J. Heating & Cooling, and ran the installers. Also in 1989, Charles Cramer bought the service side of R.J. Heating & Cooling and ran that.
In 1990, Scott Uline sold Thermal Dynamics Company to R.J. Heating & Cooling. Thermal Dynamics continues to be the controls division of R.J. Heating & Cooling.
In 1991, John Davis sold Dart to R.J. Heating & Cooling. Dart was a Brunswick area heating and cooling company, expanding R.J.'s business to Medina county residents.
In 2002, Joe Derenzis sold Heating Sales & Services to R.J. Heating & Cooling. By now you can see that R.J. continued to be a strong force in heating and cooling and in acquiring various companies, it expanded its services, equipment and range of expertise. All of these companies combine make the R.J. Mechanical that serves you today.
